online writing exchange

The 2017 online writing exchange was fun because I got advice from an outside source and that helped me a lot and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I enjoyed the feedback from Maddi. She gave me constructive criticism and helpful advice. She was a great partner for this exchange and I’m glad I got paired with her. She made my better and did a great job. Other were envious of me getting partnered with her because they said she was awesome at the UNL trip that I missed out on. My mentor didn’t build a very strong relationship with me because I never met her in person. I wasn’t at the UNL trip so I never met face to face. I only was able to see her thoughts on paper instead of hearing them in person and that didn’t help with the strength in relationship. I didn’t get the face to face experience that others did. I would have liked to get to know my mentor better if I had a chance. I am very happy with this exchange and it has diffidently improved my writing skills. However, I would have…

To The Seaside

To The Seaside One summer day in the Washington North my family and I were diving to a cabin on the seaside. The best part of the journey was floating across the Washington Bay on a ferry. We drove our van onto it and parked it in a parking lot. We then got out and explored the upper decks of the ferry it was amazing. Then after hours of driving we caught a glimpse of the western sea boarder. Suddenly all the greenery cut away for a perfect view of the rocky seaside. We followed the rode to a small shack alongside a gravel road. My dad turned round from the steering wheel to say we here. We celebrated at the end of the road t…

Inspire

The person that inspires me most is my friend Korbyn. He is strong, smart, and funny. I want to be like that someday soon. He always sets a great example. I am proud to be his friend. Korbyn is a strong and immovable as an elephant. He knocks me on my butt every time we have football practice. He inspires me to work hard to be as strong as him. He works hard and gets better, just like everybody should. Not only is he strong, Korbyn is smart, beyond Sheldon Cooper. He always seems to be right, no matter what the topic is. I can tell he loves proving me wrong. We argue a lot about the stupidest things, like what the best strategy is for a game, or who is the best character, and he almost always wins. It’s good to have him as a friend.   All in all, he is strong and smart, but he is also humorous. He always laughing like a hyena. He cracks bad jokes every chance he gets, like what do you call cheese that’s not yours, nacho cheese, ha, ha, ha… But no matter how bad the jokes are they make me…
